Testing the site. Saturday, 22, May, 2004.

Just testing this site. I have not written a blog before, so I am checking this one out. It seems to be the craze on the net now...or maybe that was a while ago.

I found this site from Jonathan Bernstein from his company's e-magazine called Crisis Manager. Hmm I'll try and post his link in here...well it's http://crisismanager.blogspot.com/

Live on West Coast (10 years now...aaggh more than I've lived where I was born and prefer). As soon as I complete my studies (around 2009 or so if I want to do Honours) I'm moving outta here! I'd love to work in Washington, DC and or New York...as I really love the East Coast of the U.S.A. Studying at a 'progressive' Universtity ;-P Researching and communicating with scholars around the world. Study interests are Justice, Corporate/Business Law, Human Rights, Security Risk Management and Security Electronics - Countermeasures to be specific if you wanted to know. When I was 2 (two) years old I had Mengitits (no not the same as Meningicocal Disease) so I have no hearing in my left ear and wear a hearing aid in my right. So I'm a pretty lucky bloke as it is a fatal illness. I'm even luckier that I am physically active as the drugs (antibiotics) can cause nerve damage to the spine. Blindness is another result so I was lucky I got the nerve damage in my ears...the tiny hairs that vibrate from the sound waves were 'cinged', well burnt. So my ears are all fine just can't pick up the sounds as the hairs haven't grown back. Scientist believe stem cells can help regrow them.
